Airstream, the 83-year old US manufacturer of the iconic silver travel trailers, is breaking new ground...with a luxury van inspired by the Mercedes Sprinter.

Named after the German for highway, the Autobahn Luxury van is a collaborative venture between the US company and the German manufacturer. However, the interior features the distinctive Airstream look, specifically tailored for VIP travel.

When you open the power entry sliding door of the Airstream Autobahn, you enter a lavishly-equipped and luxurious interior that features durable wood trim, leather seating, dual refrigerators and individualized controls. Passengers can also enjoy other facilities such as power footrests, power outlets, heated seating...not to mention a workspace equipped with a fully functional desk.

Another key feature of the Airstream Autobahn is the Airstream Smart Control System which allows passengers to control the main cabin lighting, heating, air conditioning, shades, a 32 inch LCD TV screen, Blu-Ray player and Apple TV box...all using a web-enabled smartphone.
