New Mitsubishi L200 Trojan van set to replicate the success of its predecessor

14-06-2010

Mitsubishi Motors has launched a new Trojan Special Edition of its L200 double-cab pick-up. In late 2005 the Trojan took Mitsubishi to new heights, experiencing great success in the van retail sector. Now, in such tough times for many UK businesses, Mitsubishi is attempting to rekindle the dramatic effect the Mitsubishi L200 Trojan Special Edition had in 2005.

Available solely on the standard-bed-length model, the new L200 Trojan is positioned to sit just below the L200 Warrior, with a competitive price point and the following standard equipment:

  • 16" alloy wheels
  • Rear differential lock
  • Super select 4WD
  • CD player with MP3
  • Multifunction trip computer
  • Climate control
  • Rear electric window
  • Privacy glass
  • Colour coded wheel arch extensions
  • CAT 1 Alarm system
  • Chrome outer door handles
  • Chrome heated / folding electric door mirrors

The Trojan will be available in Aztec Red (solid), Cosmos Black (metallic), Sapphire Blue (metallic) and Starlight Silver (metallic).

The newcomer will cost £15,999 (excluding VAT); with leather interior trim an option for an extra £1,200.

The L200’s previously strong residual values will help the bank balance of UK van drivers, especially when coupled with their reputation for reliability, 3-year breakdown cover and a 3-year service package costing just £395 excluding VAT. Mitsubishi is hoping this new vehicle will help businesses project a strong image, whilst staying mobile, productive and profitable in currently difficult trading conditions.
